Volunteering and the Big Society - Radio Interview with Brian Carr

BVSC's Chief Executive, Brian Carr, was interviewed yesterday by BCC Radio WM's Steve Dyson live from the newly-refurbished MAC at this week's Be Birmingham Summit, alongside Jackie Mould (Director of Be Birmingham).  The summit focused on the city's drive to refresh its Sustainable Community Strategy in the context of ongoing public spending cuts, and Brian and Jackie were asked, amongst other things, about the role of volunteering in the government's vision for the 'Big Society':
