Thriving Third Sector Delivery Plan
This Delivery Plan defines a thriving third sector as one in which:
- Voluntary and community organisations make a vital contribution to empowering and strengthening communities;
- Active and empowered citizens have a wide range of opportunities to make a positive contribution;
- Independent and sustainable VCOs have the skills, knowledge and resources to achieve their aims, and to contribute to the delivery of Local Area Agreement outcomes;
- The third sector is influential as a positive force for change in Birmingham and beyond, actively contributing to decision-making, the shaping of policy, and service delivery.
