Constituency Champions
The Third Sector Assembly has recruited champions to represent the third sector in each of Birmingham's constituencies.
The need for constituency champions was driven by Assembly members as it was felt that there needed to be further representation at a local level.
The major task for the constituency champions is to act as a conduit for information between the constituency and the wider third sector through the Third Sector Assembly. The Champions will be representing the sector; offering sector perspectives to issues and agenda items at Constituency Strategic Partnership meetings.
The following champions have been appointed:
- Erdington - Sam Miller, Urban Devotion
- Hodge Hill - Raymond Goodwin, Castle Vale TRA
- Northfield - Becky Coley, Birmingham Play Care Network
- Ladywood - Safdar Mir, Birmingham Settlement
- Perry Barr - Derek Douglas, North Birmingham Development Agency
- Sutton Coldfield - Clive Yates, Sutton Coldfield YMCA
- Hall Green - Vijay Singh Gola, The Saffron Centre
- Yardley - Emma Payne, Birmingham Play Care Network
