Worklessness: terms & conditions Report

For the last three years, BVSC has surveyed a sample of third sector organisations in order to establish the size, shape and support needs of the sector. This report analyses the data from 2008, identifying changes from the previous years, in order to produce a snapshot of third sector organisations in the city.
The mapping work was funded by the ChangeUp Consortium in 2007 and 2008. The 2008 sample has been funded by Birmingham & Solihull Learning & Skills Council, Birmingham City Council and the Big Lottery Fund.
On the 29th January over a hundred third sector organisations attended an event organised by the Third Sector Assembly to participate in discussions over the Local Area Agreement (LAA). These indicated five common issues about the development of the LAA and the role of the Third Sector within its delivery.
LINks: Local Involvement Networks - Stakeholder Event Report

Third Sector Assembly Terms of Reference
Terms of reference for the Assembly were drawn from the launch events in July. They set out the vision, objectives and values of the Assembly - why it's been brought together, what things it seeks to achieve and what concepts will guide its activities.
